The use of woven fish traps across Asian cultures is a decades-old practice among coastal communities, placed along the currents of rivers and seas to gather fish.
Our "Fish Tales" tell the story of a fishing culture that has sustained a livelihood for centuries. Rattan poles are fastened around a steel frame to create a basket-shaped enclosure, confining sea creatures swimming in circular motion. Warm light is then casted on these golden fish, beholding marine life frozen in time.
Our "Fish Tales" collection-an epitome of coastal history and a life lived by the seas.
